City of De Pere Building Inspection Division
The City of De Pere is seeking a Code Enforcement Specialist. This position will be responsible for administering and enforcing City Building and Property Maintenance Code, City Zoning Code violations, public nuisances, stormwater and drainage violations, Public Works ordinance violations, building codes, fence, accessory structure, and pool violations, conducting inspections and investigating complaints as required in accordance with the De Pere Municipal and Zoning Codes.
The typical work schedule is Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. However, the City of De Pere recognizes the importance of its employees having a proper work-life balance and supports alternative work arrangements which include alternative work schedules, flexible scheduling, and remote work to help meet your lifestyle needs. In addition, new employees receive three weeks of vacation time and four floating holidays per year beginning on the first day of work (prorated the first year).
